Amp setting

ok im not really sure what collaboration forums are for, but im just going to ask a help question. what is a good amp setting for that reggae sound. i like a lot of sublime but i cant quite get that sound. i either have the sound too bassey or its too "noisey" in a static way. any input on treble/bass/gain/FX is appreciated.

I'd try a fairly clean tone, with a lot of reverb and slight bit of delay--and some deft palm muting. That will get you a Police-like reggae tone, which should get you on your way.
