Fav Mic for Electric Guitars?

I have a SM57, a Sennheiser dynamic mic, and a Samson condenser mic. However, I am wondering what other mics I might consider for recording either of my tube amps (both single speaker combos). The 57 is fine, of course, but maybe there is something better I could be using...

Also, if I am recording at relatively low volumes (unavoidable since I live in an apartment), should I consider using a condenser mic instead of a dynamic like the 57?

89 views and no advice... crazy! :D Well, if anyone knows of a mic that really shines for recording guitar amps let me know. I prefer a flatter response than the 57 offers.

I think nobody replies because the SM57 is most people's mic of choice.

It's basically a snare drum mic though, and while yes, it is common, I think high end studios go with other options. Perhaps this is the wrong place to ask...
