Hey all
Recently I've been watching David's videos about the modes. But before watching these videos I gave myself a "mission", to get the notes on the neck down cold, like David said. So my question to you guys is:
Are scales really that important? I mean, if you know what kind of notes the scale consists of, cant you just play them over the whole neck instead of learning shapes and stuff??
Might be a silly question xD but please answer :)
