I don't know if anyone brought this to your attention, but I get different webpages from these two URLs.
The one is the pre-launch page I saw from youtube awhile ago and the other is this webpage.

I dont know the exact reasons but thenextlevelguitar was the first website and then when the website actully launched, Dave and Tim droped the THE. So the one with the THE is not used.

It's not hard to automatically redirect the "thenextlevelguitar.com" domain to the "nextlevelguitar.com" domain. Or even park it on top of it so that the domains are both using the same files and therefore are the same.
However, I don't know how well this works with the Joomla CMS (or whatever CMS it is you are using).

That matters more with Namer Servers/DNS to redirect to nextlevelguitar.com. Was smart actually adding the 'the' part in there, keeps other company's from buying it and mess up people (I hate company's like that).

Yes, that was very smart, but its not smart having them both be on 2 different websites.

I agree with Pekker, it's their way of protecting this site, so no one steals or claims it is their videos. VERY CLEVER MY FRIENDS.

redirecting is really easy and they should do it.
I "lost" this webpage for awhile after launch because I read the email, checked the link out in there and explored for a few minutes, then closed the browser/deleted the email planning to come back later... when I did come back later I went to "thenextlevelguitar" and was wondering what happened.

They should leave thenextlevelguitar.com because it provides extra exposure in search engines (although the really should add some content), but there should be a link for nextlevelguitar.com so that people know where to go.
In the free videos on YouTube and Google Video it always says thenextlevelguitar.com and David always talks about the forum and all the lessons on the website, but if you went to "the website" (thenextlevelguitar.com) you'd be confused.
