Sorry Jon but I think you have a bit of a wrong idea.. NLG isn't making a video of EVERY requested song, just the most requested, soo if I were you I would not get my hopes up too high. But for TNT and thunderstruck you probably could haha

I know it ranks up there with "Stairway" (which is another good suggestion;) ) as a song everyone loves to hate, but that solo in "Freebird" would lend to a lot of helpful techniques I'd like to learn. The song kicks ass regardless of what people say about it, and I for one love it!! :D Bring on the lesson! It would be a monster to teach, but your adoring "nextlevelguitar.com" fans are craving the challenge!

a bunch have people have said it, and i agree, the concert version of this song is awesome, and really long, and would probably take at least 4 video parts if not more to cover the whole song, but frankly i'd be willing to sit and learn, so add my vote!

I agree free bird is an absolute classic however it would be completely impractical to learn the 5 minute guitar solo at the end but definitly the slide intro and maybe David could mix it up and also teach the arppegiated rythm like in the demo version of the song.

I think the solo make some players quick guitar and make them go cry in a corner trying to learn it. Either that, or their fingers would be burned off, from a new condition caused by this song, "Freebird Burn"

Okay i kinda figured out the chord line. Starts of with a G, then a D, then a Em and some fingering there and then F and C. Thats kindof the chords..

I'd love to see a vid on this, you know it was playing guitar hero recently that made me pick up a guitar again and that was one of the highlights of the game. This song would make an excellent series of videos, show us how it's done David.
