Ya I bought the new BOSS RC-2 Loop Station just before Christmas and has 33 different drum patterns in it , actually it has about 99 as you can take any of the drum patterns and either slow them down or speed them up. So the versatility is pretty cool you can also record and over dub your guitar playing while playing with the drum patterns and it all stores in the pedal there is 11 different locations to store your loops. Right now I am looking at buying a BOSS GT-8 pre-amp effects processor as I have a DOD Tech4xl pre-amp effects processor now, though it is good it just doesn't have what I need anymore.

The GT series processors are the best guitar effects processors out there. The only thing that is KINDA lacking is some of the more analog sounds. But if you know how to set them up, you can duplicate almost ANY sound.

I got the RP50. I will sum it up nicely: ACE.

The RP250 looks even tastier, I'm already happy with mine but that USB support looks darn appealing :o

I have the RP150 also.....it can turn your practice amp into a concert....I love the drum machine, it makes a basic scale sound like even more......some of the best models are in the 40 to 50 positions....have fun

Disobedience,

the rp250 rocks brutha and I just started messing with programming it. I just plug in the usb open the xedit program and I can edit all of the settings on the fly, now all I need to do is figure out what everything does

Here disobiediance. this is the rp250.

Quad how do you like it? I have the rp100 and have for years. I'm interested in what you have to say about the 150. I must say they can take a beating. I'm looking at the 250 just for the volume pedal

i have the rp 200...with pedal...i like it..but it's also limiting...it has more sounds than i'll ever use(i've tried..lol) and the pedal isn't quite as responsive as a stand alone like a cry baby...the other things are ...it never seems that the effects you need for a song are close enough together to get to them fast enough...and you have to hit and or hold both buttons to either bypass or get to the tuner...these are more items that would be troubling on stage...at home it's usually not an issue...i know you can re-program it to get the effects you want side by side...but the dealer who sold it to me said you have to redo all the effects to have a custom order...but it does have a great drum machine...tuner is ever easy to use...I have a "jam-a-long" feature you can patch a cd player into the effect...and some of the sounds are fantastic...so to me it's kinda a 50/50 split...i have started buying some other effects like the mt-2 and noise suppressor..i think what will work best for me is to have my distortion and clean as their own effects and keep the rp 200 on bypass until i need a specific effect from it..or as a tuner

Ya that's why I am holding out for a GT6 or a GT8 from BOSS. I hear mixed reviews about the RP series from Digitech. Mind you I have never personally seen one or ever heard what they can do so I will not knock them. I just like that the BOSS is a solid constructed piece that will handle any abuse thrown at it not to mention that it has pretty much every effect you will ever need or want.
