Looks like a cross between an acoustic a Sitar and a harp lol and it likely sounds wicked too regardless of what it looks like.

I think it looks sexy. I used to play those at guitar center but they stopped selling them about 2 years ago. At least all the guitar centers in my area.

Ya :D LOL :D it would! Especially if you had the talent to switch between every playable section of the guitarharpsitar or whatever the hell you wanna call it lol during a show or something. Not only that I wanna see the hardshell case that goes with it!
Hell why didn't the company or the private builder add a violin to it as well lol.And a flute!

That's not an ugly guitar! It just looks like it needs some TLC. It looks to have a nice neck on it as well. Ever thought about refurbishing Installing new pickups and electronics? What make is it?

It's a Washburn and you have it nailed to the back of your shed! It looks to be one of the older Washburns and is likely worth a bit of money!

I picked it up at a pawn shop summer sale for $20.00 its not worth much more. I really don't have any interest in dumpping any money into to attempt to make it a playable guitar, even if I did, I use the little free time I have trying to learn to play, and working on my farm after work, A project guitar is just not in the cards for me at this time. I actually think that it looks pretty good out there,I decided yard art was a better ending for it than the pawnshop probably tossing it into a dumpster.

one late note, its a Washburn BT3 in good playing condition you can buy one for about $125.00 to $140.00 (thats in good condition) this was a pawnshop pig that they could not sucker anyone into giving them first $100, then it was droped to $75, then $50 then they had the "yard sale" to get rid of the junk that they could not sell, they were asking $30 for it, I offered them $20 and they took it. I bought it with the intention of using it as yard art on a project of bigger scale than where it now hangs, but until I get the time it is weathering nicely.

The prop guy on The Carson Daly show built a bass similar to this, and the bassist in the band played it. I can't find a vid of it, though.

Odd guitar, indeed, but Andy McKee is awesome! He's fun to watch.

That's awesome. I actually find that guitar absolutely beautiful. It's a work of art, though not what some people consider "traditional", so they don't appreciate it.

I did a search for "ugly guitar" on Google Images and found the following. Ewwww!! The first one is terrible. I believe the 2nd one is a Parker. I kinda dig those.
