I like both the regular version and the acoustic version, but I think the acoustic version would be excellent practice for barre chords. The strumming can be a little messed up, but they appear to be 8th note patterns so it can be simplified.

You are right on the money when you say it's a good song to practice barre chords. The acoustic version is what I used to learn barre chords. If your new to barre chords, this song will have you in a great deal of pain.........no pain, no gain.
There are many great tabs out there on the acoustic version, and it really is a simple song. If you are in need of a good tab ( with strum pattern ), let me know.

Cool !! You can do this song if you are able to barre. If you have trouble with barre chords, now is the time to get them down. This song is a great workout for it.

Here is a video link ( not a lesson, just a cool vid where you get good sound quility )for you guys to help with the song.

Hey, thanks for the tab and the link. I practiced it a little last night and got a pretty good hang of it. It's a workout for me because I'm pretty new to the barre chords, but I'm getting it...

Awesome ! Glad your getting it ! Soon, a barre chord will be just as easy as a major G chord for you.
