Acoustic Alvarez AD70s

Hey all!

I just made a huge no no and ordered an AD70s from Ebay, yeah I know you should never purchase a guitar before trying it. However, I really wanted to upgrade my piece of crap laminated acoustic to a solid top, because I understand it really helps as far as sound, and they get better with age supposedly. Anyone have any experience with alvarez, or this guitar in particular? I got a great deal on a brand new one, so I couldn't pass it up. If it sucks I can always return it, but I am hoping it turns out beautiful. :) I was told that Alvarez acoustics are pretty nice because they have one of the easiest necks to play. Just looking for some input I guess! Thanks.

You heard right, I have my eyes set on an Alvarez that I played at Guitar Center. Low action, beautiful sound, and a price that is reasonable for a mid level guitar. From my own experiences I would have to recommend an Alvarez just because they feel just right to me.

It sounded really good in the store, was easy to play and looked nice. After changing the strings it sounds even better, so I'm very happy with my Alvarez.

lol i bid for one of those on ebay the other day! might have been the same one. I've never played one but heard they are good!

I won the bid for $180 which I thought was a song and a dance for a new solid top Alvarez. I'll let you know how it turns out, maybe I'll post a vid of me playing it.

Because that sunburst model looks much darker in the picture.

Yes it is the same model but the sunburst on my guitar isn't red.
