Takamine EG530SSC Acoustic / Electric

I did some comparison shopping recently and brought home a Takamine EG530SSC acoustic / electric guitar. Most would probably call this a mid-level guitar but I thought the tone was nearly as good as the $3k Martins hanging out in their own special room. Buttery smooth neck and action, good projection unplugged and great tone plugged in. The built in tuner is nice too, if you're like me and keep misplacing your tuner, you won't have that worry anymore. I'd recommend this as a great first or second guitar for anyone.

I recently purchased a Takamine eg523sc (the jumbo) and it is awesome. In my opinion the tone is similar to that of much more expensive guitars and like you said the tuner is awesome! Oh, and the guitar looks freakin' awesome too...

I've got the EG541SC and cannot fault it in the slightest. Just paid £50 to have it full set up etc due to my lack of playing it , but now..oh my its simply perfect. Amazing guitar I would not hesitate to recommend for the price bracket.

Nice pick up guys. I had purchased a Eg523sc Jumbo 2+ months ago. After playing it for a week or two and changing the strings i found the jumbo just too bright for my liking. I brought it back, paid a little more and got my self a EAN10c .. Unbelievable!!!! After playing and comparing all different kinds of guitars for nearly an hour and a half i couldnt be more happy... Love the takamine!
