Anyone ever use any of these string cleaners?
I've heard you should to prolong the life of your strings but no one I know in person uses them. Of course, the people I know replace their strings every two weeks.

I use FastFret and have for years Bigsnake.
Keeps my strings clean...keeps my fretboard lubricated..and has the added benefit of helping with calouses. If you dont' have any..it seems to help them build up faster, but not the ugly ones...the ones that are under the skin that you develop from years of playing.
My 2 cents ;)

I'll check it out. I've almost been living with the outside of my fingers chewed up for the past few months so I'm kind of use to it.. Not sure what other people think though. :D

I have always used "fast fret"....I like it for the same reasons Disobedience said plus it's a rub on with a nice applicator...i knew guys who used the spray and it was a mess

I use Kyser Dr. Stringfellow cleaner/lubricant sprayed on a lintfree cloth and just wiped on. I also have someTone Fingerease, but I like the pumpspray bottle from Stringfellow better, I can't tell that much of a differance between the different brands of product. Here is an FYI instead of buying those little guitar polishing cloths for $$$ a real cloth diaper works just as good if not better, they are also lint free and washable. They are fairly cheap, I use one for keeping my strings clean and another for cleaning my guitars.

with stringfellow, I spray it on my cleaning cloth and then wipe the strings, fingerease suggest that you spray it up and down your strings, the overspray gets all over your fretboard, and sometimes your pickups and guitar body,

FastFret here, too. :) It makes my fingers glide across my bass strings as if I'm playing flatwounds or coated strings.
Plus it smells a lot nicer than a lot of the string cleaning products out there.
