It just sounds a little more compressed. I adjusted my monitor to desired volume and thought it sounded normal. Then when I clicked on a couple of Dave's other videos they came through much louder.
Remember that there's a volume adjuster on the bottom of each youtube video. Looks like a speaker with a vertical bar next to it. Use your mouse to increase the volume. I can't tell you how to increase your computer's volume. Mine has a radio-like knob on one of the speakers.

Check your volume level on your pc as well as on the youtube video itself.

Hit Start, then control panel, then sounds, then adjust your comps. volume. it is a lil bit low but still plenty loud enough. if that doesnt work for you then your comp. is crappy.

nothing wrong with puter.custom made with everything you could ask for.been playing in computers since the old ibm 069..many years ago.Again all vids play just fine.played many on youtube last night.along with all of daves other ones..I sure know how to adjust volume.after over 30 years playing with puters for sure..

Not sure if the others have found this or not??? But most of the ones being recorded in the new layout seem to be really quiet... most recently INXS, I have to have the sound on my speakers and pc cranked up to max which makes it badly :( hummmm.

I agree I was trying to follow CatScrach and although you could hear David ok, the guitar was so far in the background that it was impossiable to follow

sorry about that - turns out we had a broken mic for that video - we replaced it with a new one and we are back in business - we record lessons all the time so eventually stuff can break down - we are on it and rocking out with more volume!
Take care and rock on!
