I found this site mentioned in another thread and they have some interesting on board electronics. Have anyone here ever installed anything like this on one of your guitars. Are the good quality stuff and are they worth the trouble and price?

:)
I really prefer the simplest of designs. Volume, tone, and a selector switch is often one too many knobs for me. When I custom build I sometimes only use a volume and selector switch, with a tone control stashed inside the guitar. Adding an effect would require the need for additional knobs. I think installing an effect within the amp's circuitry would be a better idea if one was needed. Right now I have a compressor velcrod to my Vox. Might do the mod one day.
One knob, one switch!

Though I would consider the installation of an additional lever.;)

Ok, to answer your question, those "effects" boards, are really garbage. Ive installed them into a few guitars, only to have them come back within the next couple of days to get removed.
They are horrible man.. stay away..

Thanks for the warning. I'll keep looking for on board effects.
