I am thinking about buying a Line 6 Spider III 75 amp. I would appreciate any feedback from anyone who owns one or has ever played one. As a rookie guitarist (I've been playing for about 9 months), this amp seems to be the perfect fit for someone who does not know a lot about tweaking amps to get a specific sound or has the money to buy a lot of different equipment. Again, I'd really appreciate any input. Thanks!

Sorry for the slow replay Steevai.

My other guitarist has a Spider III 75 watt amp and hates it. I think it's for sale if you want me to check..heheh

I'm not a big fan of them either...they sound very digital and seem to be made with inexpensive hardware.
The other part is that while there are lots of built in tones, it's very hard to create your own sound..or at least thats what I've found.

My 3 cents ;) (Inflation)

Thanks for the response. Still haven't fully decided yet what my next amp will be (I have an old Epiphone 40W), but just trying to get a feel for what would be the best amp on a tight budget (considering it's just for practice anyhow). Let me know if he wants to sell his (a deals a deal anyway haha)

I've posted this almost everywhere...and most of the members here can tell you I'm a huge fan of Kustom amps.
Check them out at your local dealer...you'll be pleasantly suprised at the sound/tone quality..and even happier with the price.
For practice...look at the DFX series (Solid State) or the smaller Tube Amps.
You can get a much larger amp in Solid state for the price of a 12 watt tube...but try them both and decide.
