Need help with an RP-200A

I just borrowed an RP-200A effects pedal from my friend. After hooking it up according to the directions, I can't get the thing to work. I can get the drum machine working however the actual guitar itself doesn't play through the amp at all. I have no idea how to get this thing working and would appreciate some help.

Double check your connections from the guitar to the pedal to the amp.

I've hooked up pedals backwards a few times ;)

Yeah I thought that might of been the problem but everything seem to be hooked up as it should be.
