Problems posting pics

Tried posting some gear shots but nothing sticks. The only response is the broken pic icon with no options or corrective suggestions. I've posted several other pics prior to this. Anyone else having issues?

If you have the pic in like your 'my pictures' folder try uploading it to imageshack and copying the url and then click on http://www.nextlevelguitar.com/aforum/images/editor/insertimage.gif and put the url in there and it should work (image shack is free http://imageshack.us/)

What picture-type did you use? Only bmp, gif, jpe, jpg, jpeg or png are allowed. And make sure that the file size and height and width are not too big. If all of those things are okay, click the paper clip -button and choose the picture from your computer. If you upload the picture from url make sure that you typed it correctly.

As I said in my op, I've posted pics before with no issues. See the thread below and scroll down to the bottom of page 1. Seemed to work then but not today.

Only advice I can give is to save the picture as .jpg and instead of using the IMG-tag, attach it (use the paper clip-button).

Okay, looks like you need to remove the [img/] tag when uploading from photobucket. Funny how that wasn't an issue earlier, thanks for the replies any how.

this is a test. i am trying to post a pic here but i dont think it will work. i am trying to use the paper clip but not sure how this works. most forums i have seen you have to upload a photo to a gallery and then paste it into a forum post. but here goes:
WOW! it worked. i had no clue that was how to do that in here thank you a bunch Miika! btw...this is my sons and my guitars (not just mine). although i must admit i probably funded most of them LOL.

Image Shack is horrible about pop ups, photobucket many times better.
.bmp fr the record is a horrible format and can take ages to load onto a webserver, save as.png
