Hey all,

I picked up a new webcam today and was toying around with it.
Just curious if it's just me or if the camera actually does seem clearer.

And yes..I know it's backwards...I forgot that I flipped it before I started recording :(

Which cam did you get? That looks pretty sharp. My latest is Microsoft's low-end LifeCam which does a fairly good job, but I'm not going to post anything yet... I'm still learning :)

You, on the other hand... that was bad ass... nice job.

Thanks JD

It's actually a Logitech Fusion. It was only 79.00 Cdn and seems to have really good picture quality.

Mine was like $30 US -- but for the amount I use it (like never!) it was about right for me. If I need real good video of something I'll whip out my DV cam.

Nice job rippin' it up, dude... that was bitchen.

what are you using to get that nice sound? and are you just recording right into the camera? i have a digitech multi pedal but cant get anywhere near that good of a metal sound.

That one was recorded with my Line6 Guitar Port.
It's my own patch..but if you have a Line6 I can fire it over

i am currently using a ibanez, with a behringer vampire amp(bypassing all its effects) and using a digitech gnx4 effects pedal.. i am thinking of trading in the digi, i cant seem to find the sounds i want out of it. i am thinking of just getting chorus pedal and some sort of overdrive and steer clear of the multi effect things. how are the line 6 stuff?? is that just a pedal you are using or a line 6 amp with built in effects?

The Guitar Port has been replaced with the TonePort.
It's a decent rig for toying around on the computer..but you're better off getting a decent Overdrive or Distortion pedal.
I spent about a month working on it to get it sound like it does..and it still sounds a little digital to me.

I had a Guitar Port and really liked it, lots of extra features for playing in front of my computer (where I play most of the time) but it was not designed to go into your amp) I think that there were ways to patch it in. I sold it to a friend and got the Line6 Podxt, alot more stuff, easier to tweek, and I can use it on the computer or patched through my amp. I think its a real decdient product.
