Hey everyone - Whiskey here...

I just wanted to say welcome to all the newcomers who will no doubt contribute greatly to these forums and benifit greatly as well.
To the ones who've been around the track a few times, you're a great community and make this place fertile ground for creative minds and eager fingers.

I wanted to share a few points that have been addressed since the launch of the site in the hopes of keeping this place enjoyable for all.

As you may notice, we have a broad range of ages and nationalities gathering to NextLevelGuitar.com. Its important that we respect each other.
Please no offensive, crude, or demeaning language in your posts. Lets keep it clean and upbuilding.
Comments and/or crtitsism is welcome as long as it is not destructive. We're here to encourage the efforts of others.

Please do not post tabs or request them to be posted. Due to legal restrictions, they are not permitted.

Do not use any type of advertisement in your signature. It will be immediatly removed for you.

Thats pretty much it. David and Tim have given us the tools we need to become terrific guitarists and continue to do so daily.

Rock on.

As long as its something you wrote yourself and you state that clearly when you post then there shouldn't be any problem.

Is the reason you can't post tabs the same reason Dave says 'in the vein of.. what I think they are playing' and why the songs aren't note for note?
Just curious

Dunno. He's doing a lot of it by ear, and there are multiple ways to play each chord. Some ways sound better and are more natural to play than the obvious way. I doubt he's gonna run out and buy the sheet music for each song we request.
