How many users own this amp or played on one? I've been playing with the idea of getting a tube amp. the blues jr read like a good amp and has a real low price, but I haven't been out to play on one at all. those newer vox valvetronix ad15 ad30 look interesting as well but aren't all tube.

valvetronix isn't bad at all, I just got one last friday and it sounds great.

I'm leaning towards a Vox AD30vt myself, but if you want tube the Blues Jr is good from what I hear. My local Fender shop hasn't had one in in a while for me to try.
From the reviews I've read, the Blues Jr is the way to go if you're wanting clean tones, but if you play mostly for crunch or distortion the Peavey Classic 30 is the way to go.

I've played the fender and really like it. I have not played the blonde blues Jr. I have palyed the Crate Palomino V50 or Crate Palomino V32. I've got to say that when I go play at the guitar shops its the amp I look for. I've been looking for a tube amp too. I have a fender champion 30 and really like it. Its a great practice rig. I just happend accross the palomino and really liked it.
Thats my 2cents:D

Both are really nice amps, the Vox has great tube tone plus alot of other perks, the Valvetronic 30 is a great amp. I have the Fender Blues Deluxe, which has a bit more power than the Vox and its all tube but the two you are looking at are both good sounding amps and both will give you a good clean or overdriven blues tone... The VOx being a hybrid amp still reacts to your picking etc.. just like an all tube amp does...
