Ok, so i definitely need a new amp... the one i have is old, beat up, and really small. I'd like to here some your thoughts on Marshall amps. I'm looking at either a MG15 Micro Stack or an MG100 Half Stack. However, i've also heard Peavey's are really good, so i was looking into those (specifically the Bandit 112 and the Envoy 110), but i don't want to spend more than $400 (I found the MG100 Half at a local shop for like $370 or around there... basicall just way less than at guitar center). Please post and let me know what you think. Thanks

Fender G-DEC 30 or Vox Valvetronix 15w or 30w are in your price range. Great preactice amps with lots of modeling options. The Gdec has bass and drum tracks you can play over.

You want new so the $400 kind of stops you from getting a decent tube amp. If you are willing to look used you could try to pick up a Peavey Delta Blues or maybe a Fender Blues Jr. in that price range. I have found that if you look around and buy a used tube amp it does not depreciate all that fast so when you sell it to upgrade you won't be out too much money.
