Grrrrrrrrrrr..

I am so aggrivated. Some of you guys may know, some of you guys may not know. I am a professional magician, who also releases a effect or two each year.

We have recently released an effect, which the basic premise is, you draw on a peice of paper, have it inspected, then you proceed to move the ink around the page, anywhere you want, give it back to the spectator, for a memorable soviener..

Unfortunatly, the unethical "aholes" in this world, would much rather profit from somone elses time, energy, and cash, rather than accually be creative themselves.

This has happened with our effect. And to be quite honest, its really TICKING me off. Sad part is, its virtually impossible to stop, the american legal system will rarely touch things such as this as there is too many grey area's involved, but they are quick to give you a copywrite LOL.

i just wanted to vent.. nothing more, nothing less..

Any chance of making the perpetrators disappear? Abbra-Cadabra?

That's the way the world goes round man.let everyone else do all of the research and developement and then step in and steal the idea. Look at the pharmaceutical industry. Why do you think the generic brand is so much cheaper?
It does suck on your part though. It's to bad you couldn't get royalties out of them or something.

It's a darn shame it got stolen, but that's one awesome effect. I can't even imagine how that one would work.

That must be really annoying, just spread the word and let everybody know they stole it from you.... it just shows that they are not as creative or as skilled as yourself.

How about calling the venues where they have a booking and explain that you are the original who they steal the tricks from, then maybe you could steal thier work and cash :)

Eh, then i wouldnt be any better than they are ;)

Fortunatly, the people who matter, who know the origins of this, know who not to deal with..

Im just aggrivated that some people think they can "get away" with things.. iono, still ranting i suppose lol
