...and I am totally stoked! I'm a beginner who's been trying to teach myself thru tabs the last year, and when I first saw David's youtube vids -- it was a quantum leap for me! All that time, I never knew David lived just 60 miles south of me in Southern California.
As soon as I found out, I emailed and found out he's been teaching privately for a long time, and if it weren't for this great venture of his and Tim's, I would have never found the ultimate guitar teacher!
David is as cool and genuine in person as he is on the videos, and I can tell his teaching style and methods come from a deep passion for spreading the joy and love of guitar and music, and also a dedication to his students -- after my 1st lesson, David had a printed lesson plan and handouts already prepared for me. Here's a link to his private teaching site for anyone else who's local and might be interested:http://www.sdguitarteacher.com/
Well, I just want to say for struggling beginners like me, it's a great thing that we have David and NextLevelGuitar, and thanks to Tim and the whole team for putting up a great service. I'm truly inspired, and I wish everyone here success and enjoyment in your learning and playing and wherever your journey as an aspiring guitarist takes you. :)
