i am very new to the guitar game, but one song i really clung to early on was "wish you were here". it has a great intro and it would be cool to have you do a video of that.

Big fan of Petes townsends acoustic version of "won't get fooled again ". Looks like alot of fun. I have some basic versions but I'm sure that you could chop it up and serve it up alot better . Since strummin chords is alot easier that chicken pickin , It may be very gratifying for many.

Hello David and Tim,

I would like to please have the song Back in black by ACDC, in your video guitar lesson section.
If possible please include solo in the video also, if not, please make just a video for the solo please.
I go to a school, where about 10 people visit your website and admire ACDC's
back in black solo.
Thank you,

I'd love to learn how to play Tears In Heaven. I kind of got the intro and main riff, but I'm really having a hard time with the bridge and chorus. Just recently I got the solo down though, thought it's kind of easy tbh. Oh, and Eric's version of Cocain is just awsome, would be amazing to learn how to play it!

i hope this doesnt sound like i am impatient, but please can some1 tell me wen all these ''new songs'' are going to be on the website. everyday i come home from school hoping that there are going to be new videos on there and there never are. I no that it must very difficult to keep up with every1s requests, but instead of making a whole bunch of songs and making every1 wait for ages, look thru the requests an pick the most asked for then do that 1 then put it on here!! i no u already use that system to get all the votes and make the videos, but i would jut like something new to play! i hope this doesnt sound to harsh!

As has been mentioned before ... they had over 200 song requests before the site ever went live. They will be getting to these requests in due time. I'd say 93 song lessons in 5 weeks with more landing weekly is pretty good don't you? Sit back, relax, have a drink. A Shirley Temple or something.

Hello David,
I was wondering, i have only been playing for about a week but i was to learn a song or 2. i watched the video for horse with no name and i got it except the transition from one chord to the next is slow and not very good, but i noticed Ben Harper has some easy songs like walk away and especially waiting on and angel. i hope you know these cause i think beginners could learn then fast, i just need a video because i am a visual learner and the tabs arent working for me. if you could i would be very greatful!! please. thanks

i dont love the list, sorry.

i absolutely despise nirvana(cobains voice and playing both blow), i dont care for metallica(dave mustaine>kirk hammet), linkin park is a band for 12 year olds, perfect circle is not as good as TooL. and slipknot just bangs on their instruments making noise not music. plus, their singer is really only good for screaming words that you cannot understand, sort of like a slightly more mellow cannibal corpse.

I would like Megadeth more if Dave Mustbelame didn't sing. Metallica is my favorite band also its Hammett not Hammet. Linkin Park I can't have an opinion about them since I never heard of them, reason they seem like for preppy pre-teens. I like Slipknot due to their unique style.

Candy Says - Blind Melon / Unified Theory
Doesn't Remind Me - Audioslave
Black Hole Sun - Soundgarden
Last Dance With Mary Jane - Tom Petty
Knockin on Heavens Door - Bob Dylan / Guns N Roses (if they are different)

Posting one post is easier, but if you read the stickey at the top of the song request topic, if asks you to post seperate posts for each song request in order to be considered for a video poll. Also in that stickey it asks you to put the artist and song title within the post name. For more information refer to these two links:

I think you guys should make some video song lessons for The Strokes and I think the best songs would be Reptilia, Take it or leave it and if you like the strokes too, any song you like. Please

I would need all 3 parts(Bass-,Solo-,Rythm- guitar) for some songs like:
Ignite: A place called home
Rage against the machine: like the angel
Cradle Of Filth: No time to Cry
And I would like to request more Tricks and picks.
ThanX.
