I have the Line 6 Spider II amp and i love it. I would recomend it to anyone. But, i don't really know a whole lot on how to make the settings sound good with songs. Normally when I'm just playing around and playing some of my own stuff i just mess around with the settings until i find something i like, but for specific songs i have a hard time finding a way to make them right, or sound close enough to being right. I know for a lot of songs i'll need pedals and things like that but i still think i should be able to get a few things close since the amp comes with Chorus flange, phaser, tremelo, and a few other pre-set effects...anyone got any suggestions?

for blues i either use the crunch or metal channel.. if u use the metal channel be sure to turn the drive way down and use plenty of reverb... its not really the best amp for blues but thats what i do..

Honestly,, I don't really use the effects that much.. they're fun to play around with but in my opinion they just aren't very useful... especially the phaser effect, i almost never use it.. i will sometimes use flange, tremelo , and chorus but never that much i always keep the effects set on the low end.... too much of a good thing can be a bad thing...
