Me and two of my friends want to start a band. Well we already have a band, but we need a drummer. There's absolutely none out here, or that we know of. We're a sort of Punk/Rock band. We are 3 17 year olds just looking to have fun and maybe actually start something serious up, we want to play shows as soon as possible. The band right now is called "The Tokyo Snipers," but we plan on changing it. The lead singer has a good voice (or at least we think so) its definetly a good punk sounding voice. He is also pretty good at guitar, and hes going to play guitar at the same time as singing. But he is a lot better than i am, and can do solos and what not, but he cant do it obviously while singing. So we're trying to get me to get better, which im trying very hard. I take guitar in school and have been playing for about 2 months. Our bassist is pretty good, self taught and can come up with interesting riffs. Our band isnt the greatest, but we'll take this thing seriously, its what we all want to do for a career. If you have ever heard of the band "coffee and cigrattes" that is our lead singers, brothers band which is pretty popular in the white rock area. We don't care what you look like, dressing sort of punkish would be cool, and just have a good sense of humour and what not would be a bonus. You dont have to be the best drummer, and please bare with us as we jam. If you listen to "The Black Halos" drumming, we want something kind of like that, or be able to excell to that level. So yeah thats pretty much it. So far the band consists of me Chris Nelson I am rhythm guitar right now, but planning on taking the role as lead. We have Sam Findlay on Bass, and Luke McSherrie on lead vocals and guitar.

Please contact me by email or msn, it is c_nelson144@hotmail.com.

Thanks

PS: Also, if you just know of any drummers like your friends that would liek to do something like that. Please pass this on to them and see if theyre interested.
