I've been playing for about 6 months now and my current guitar was bought sort of cheap. I can tell you it's starting to show! There is some buzz from the 3rd fret being worn down and all of the strings buzz on the 12th fret and some other higher frets.
I've been thinking of buying a hummingbird (http://www.guitarcenter.com/shop/product/buy_epiphone_hummingbird_acoustic_guitar?full_sku= 518655%2e035%2e115), I've read nothing but good about it. Does anyone have any advice, perhaps another choice?

I was at guitar center the other day and after spending a few hours with the pricy Fenders, Gibsons, Taylors and Martins, I found a nice Alvarez that played excellent and looked beautiful. Hopefully I can pick it up once I get some cash.

Alvarez make some great guitars for the money. Just a suggestion though, try out Washburn guitars. I own a washburn and a Martin and I just love the washburn. Low action and a great sound. The best bang for your buck as far as I'm concerned.
