Hey fellow guitar players!

Hope you are all doing fine, atleast I do. :)

Well anyway. I just wanted to ask if anyone knows what kind of Guitar this acoustic is that I own.
My father once bought it when he was young. Everything that I know is that it's from Ibanez, it's an acoustic 12-String guitar.
I've searched the web for this guitar but couldn't find any guitar with a matching pickguard.

Funny thing is, you can see the guitar hanging around at 14:45 in Tim's new video, that museum-tour thingy.

Thanks and take care,

I could be totally off.. but it looks like a reproduction of the Gibson Dove line. I say reproduction for two reasons. One.. it doesn't say gibson .. Two .. the Original Doves were so rare that Gibson didn't even have one. They actually had a friend of mine here in Ottawa (she's in her 70's) with an original Dove send it to the Gibson company so they could reverse-engineer it and re-create the line. All Doves today are based off her guitar.

Like I said, its obviously not a real Dove.. but it sure looks like one.

is there a model number inside like #693 or #750 it is a dove copy the series line was Concord and included several copies of American designs. Most of the popular Designs(Gibson,Martin, etc.) can be found priced between $500-$700 they were manufactured between 71-77.They are said to play very well the 12string like yours are supposed to be very well balanced

First off, thanks for the answers.

Yeah, it does play really well and I love to play it. There's the Model No. 693x12 written into it (inside the body).
