I am looking to spend $500 to $700 on an acoustic electric.
Anyone have any dealings with Guild guitars - any suggestions as to other brands appreciated

Guild are good guitars you will be looking at the GAD-25 or GAD-30. I would also look at Washburn or Seagull guitars I think they are your best bang for your buck.

Giuld use to make some great guitars, I don't know how they are nowadays, but I would guess that they still make some good guitars, I also would look at the Washburn accoustics, great guitars and some of the best features for your dollar.

Check out the Taylor 110e guitar. The sound and quality is excellant! I owned it for about 3 months and loved it until I traded up to the taylor 314-CE model. The sound and quality of the Martin and Taylors are hard to beat. They have many low end models. In Dave's video he also recomends them.
