For $500?
Also YOU NEED to hook up a cab to a head. Using a head without a cab is dangerous.

Hm lets see here A valve king would be a nice starter to try
Peavy Valve King (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Peavey-ValveKing-112-Combo-Amp?sku=481442)
or B-52
B- 52 (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/B52-60Watt-1x12-Tube-Combo?sku=480046)

Thats what I would recommend to try first
Then these
Randall (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Randall-RX120DHS-120W-Half-Stack-Guitar-Amp-with-4x12-Cabinet?sku=481269)
Roland Cube (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Roland-Cube-60-Guitar-Amp?sku=480197)
Vox Valve Tronix (http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Vox-Valvetronix-AD50VT-50W-Guitar-Combo-Amp-?sku=482615)

If your just wanting a Sabbath sound, get a laney
http://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?sofocus=unknown&sbrftog=1&catref=C6&from=R10&satitle=Laney&sacat=619%26catref%3DC6&sargn=-1%26saslc%3D2&sadis=200&fpos=37167&ftrt=1&ftrv=1&saprclo=&saprchi=&fsop=1%26fsoo%3D1&coaction=compare&copagenum=1&coentrypage=search&fgtp=
So go out and try some amps :)

The only things you won't find their are the Randalls and Laneys,
also when you go to Guitar Center and you see a "VHT" amplifier (about a $4,000 amp) Makes sure you play it as loud as you can ;)

Goto Guitarcenter and play through this setup.

http://www.guitarcenter.com/shop/product/buy_marshall_mg100hdfxmg412_slant_cab_half_stack_p ackage?full_sku=482807

Once you fall in love with it, tell them if they can do any better on the price.. Its almost a guarantee that they will lower the price a little more into your price range. Although this is one of the more "economy" stack setups, its still a marshall and it is very loud. It keeps up quite well with my JCM800, and has a great tone.

I am highly suggesting this setup.
