The results from the latest UCLA department of Psychiatry tests are in. Apparently the difference between nerds and non-nerds is simple. Nerds call them 'Avatars". Non-nerds call them 'little pictures'. You don't want to know what they call the ones who insist on the proper spelling of 'avatar'. ;)

This is a test of the 'sense of humor' broadcasting system.

I have an awesome avatar that I use everywhere. I was disappointed, nay, disheartened when I realised we couldn't have our own avatars here on this forum. :(

Doesn't seem not fair members can't have avatars... :( Though some members would tend to make the insanely huge.

Not at all. They can be (and usually are) limited to 100 pixels square. And you can even limit the filesize.

You don't. Moderators are chosen by us on an 'as needed' basis.
As far as Avatars go, regular members have been enabled to use them for some time now.
