Just wanted to say Hi to my neighbors. I'm in Hammond. You guys know any good music stores in the area? I've been to several but the only one I'd really recommend is C&M Music Center in Baton Rouge. Don't care much for the C&M in Mandeville.

It's at 7856 Florida Blvd. Very helpful and friendly people there, unlike the one in Mandeville. They've got a pretty good selection of guitars there.

There's also a tiny little place on Florida called Big Kat's. They don't have a big selection, but they have some of the new carbon fiber guitars. They were very knowledgeable about them and I was a lot more impressed with the guitars than I thought I'd be. Go have a look at them.

And then there's Guitar Center, which has everything but is too loud and crowded for me. I can't walk in there without tripping over floor displays while I'm ogling the instruments. :o I also once found a little shop called Ziegler's Music or something like that. I'm not sure where I was. I had just eaten at a Joe's Crab Shack and they were in the same shopping center, LOL. They had signs up saying not to take the guitars down off the wall; to ask for help if you were interested in anything. I decided I wasn't interested.
