I've been playing about a year now, I've got a Washburn acoustic, electric guitars are a total mystery to me. That said, I'll keep my questions as brief and to the point as I can.

Just what is a Baritone Guitar?

I'm looking at a used Peavey Predator Plus, anyone familiar with this model? Opinions?

I'm also looking at an Eastman Hi-Flyer and an Eastman Sidejack Baritone, I'd welcome anyones reviews or opinions of any of the above guitars. I'm left handed so my choices are rather narrow, Eastman does seem to have more models left handed than most manufactures seem to.

Thanks

The Baritone guitar is a variation on the standard guitar, differing with a longer scale length that allows it to be tuned to a lower range.
A normal guitar's standard tuning (from lowest string to highest) is EADGBE. Some baritone guitar designs are sufficient to produce clear tones that are lower by the interval of a fifth, and are tuned ADGCEA, the other and more common tuning is a fourth lower BEADF#B.
