It would be great to learn "Far away" (especially the chorus -it's the most difficult part of the song) but maybe even better song is "Someday" (whole record is really tough to learn for me). Both these songs are really great for guitar and deserve to be included in video songs lessons. Let's make a deal here ;) - show me how to play it and i'll do even more to finally learn how to play on this great instrument, which is guitar of course. ;)

song is very easy, tune the b string half step down and its just a simple picking pattern with a change in the base note

Ah, Nickelback my favorite band. I love this song, and many others by the band. I do know how to play most of this song, but I'm a little off right before the chorus (you know, you knooow...). Anyway, what I can tell you is this is in drop Db tuning. That means it's a half step down from standard, and also the low E string is dropped down to Db, just to clear up any confusion.
