Got my hands on a Muddy Waters Telecaster. The guy knew what he had, but really liked my Kit Ibanez acoustic-electric cutaway with the tiny 10 watt amp. I was more than happy to oblige. So now I have the Tele along with a RMI 140 2 channel amp with 2 15's in the speaker unit. Never heard of it. If anyone else has, any input would be appreciated (the amp I mean).
As for the guitar, I haven't played many in my time. Most of my experience is with a standard strat and a showster s/s savant III metaload. In comparison, the tele definitely has a unique tone and a little bit of a twang as best as I can describe it anyway.
Now I'm on the hunt to look up recognizable material that is keen to the specific sound that I can play. For me, playing a song is one thing, but playing a song that captures the essence of the sound exclusive to the original artist is what nails it. Any suggestions on tele specific songs. For obvious reasons, I'm gonna start with Muddy Waters.

Springstein, SRV, Prince, lots of pros use them is some of their stuff, they use to be considered mostly a country music guitar becasue you can really get some twang out of them, but they are really way more versital than than...
