is it bad for the neck of your guitar(and possibly strings as well) if you tune your guitar everyday? like in standared one day, then next drop d and then Eflat, ect, ect.

Hm... If you have a floating Floyd rose you'll be in hell trying to tune it everyday.
My guess it wouldn't hurt unless you change string gauge then you'll need to adjust the truss rod. Though I am not 100% sure on this subject.
But at the same time your tuning does change everyday almost due to heat and humidity so everything gets changed.

umm it doesnt hurt to tune it....its supposed to be in tune, so why not keep it in tune? its a guitar, ur supposed to play and abuse them. if it was supposed to just sit in the corner and never be touched, then by all means dont tune it, but if u are going to play it why not mess around with it for a bit? its actually really hard to break a guitar or even a string....just have fun with it.

tuning everyday is normal...i tune, re-tune after every 10 or so songs i play in one sitting. The only thing i feel does happen and i maybe wrong...but i believe strings get memory. meaning if i have guitar that is tuned to standard E most of the time, then I tune it to D for a few songs I fight with it because it wants to go back to E by itself. I'm fortunate and have 2 guitars and I have assigned tuning to them to avoid the memory problem, my strat it tuned to standand E tuning always...but it pulls the duty of being tuned to Eb or drop D...my Flying V is always tuned to D and will do that and C tuning ...this way my strings don't fight back with memory...and hopefully one day I'll be back on stage and I'll already have a system.
