I just got one of mine back from the shop. My fingers smell like linseed oil. :)

I use a fretboard oil made by (or sold by) Yamaha, but there are probably several other brands out there

I use a product called 'Fast Fret' to clean my strings after playing and it just so happens to oil my fretboard as well, so I've never needed to go and buy specific fretboard oil. My fretboard is in tip top shape. But, if I wasn't using it to clean my strings, I probably wouldn't buy it just to oil my fretboard.

same here too..."fast fret" is the way to go...clean your strings and fret boad at the same time. good product easy to use.

you should be able to buy it at any music store...it's pretty common...gold can about half the size of a shaving cream can...in the can are an applicator stick and a small cloth. I'm sure if you ask for it they will know what you mean.

Fast Fret here too. It uses a white mineral oil to clean your strings..but works wonders on the fretboard too.

Apparently, it's really common in the USA, but I haven't seen it anywhere in Australia. I bought 2 packs pretty cheap on ebay about a year ago, and I'm still going through the first pack! It will last you good.
