Ahh, the neck on my guitar is actually twisting, any ideas? It's an Epiphone Les Pauls.. I wouldn't think it's because of it being made badly. Anyways, The top string won't stop buzzing and if I look at the neck the one side is actually a good inch higher then the other. I'm thinking about bringing it into my local guitar shop since I just bought it recently. Any ideas of what could have caused?

An inch.....WOW! Take it in. Thats the best thing to do. If its an inch out a pro should take a look at it. It isn't a bad guitar so it might just be a fluke.

Hey, sometimes necks will twist. Guitar necks are NEVER finnished and joined to a body until after they had a chance to "season". All wood has some amount of spring energy stored within it. That energy is then released when it is carved. That energy will dissipate over a period of time. This neck was not done releasing it's stored energy before it was finnished and attached to the body. Knowing the quality of craftmanship in this maker of guitar I would say it is definatly a fluke. The cost of having this repaired might outweigh the value of the guitar. You might keep this in mind. Also you should plan of paying a tech for his or her time for the repair estimate. Not all charge for this but you know "time is money".
