I just went to sign up for a month and discovered that there is a $4.95 charge for shipping and handling. What the hell is that? If you wanted $33.95 say so up front.
I stopped registering until I find out what this is about.
Thanks.

Haha - Tim instituted an "aggravation tax".......
Give TIm a break. This is one helluva site with tons of content. Site's been live for less than a month... it's ummm EVOLVING.

Didn't mean to sound rude (now I sound like Simon on American Idol). I got to a point and seen the extra charge and began to wonder....
Now my account has been "blocked" if I try to log in and it "already exists" if it try to sign up again.
Thanks for taking care of this.

Ah yes.. this has been a problem in the past when a PayPal payment fails or is cancelled that far into it. I will make sure that Tim is made aware of it and get if fixed as soon as possible.

Have to bump this thread because I'm having the same problem now and tried signing up with and without logging into Paypal. Any way I can get around this?

We are coding the final payment info the the video song DVDs and had a glitch which added shipping and handling to site membership
that has been corrected

Tim,
Thanks, I just signed on. Couple of questions:
1) Am I supposed to get an e-mail with a password to the premium forums?
2) If I sign on for the year, is the $29 refund automatic or should I notify you?
3) There's no string-change lesson for electrics, is there? :)

I will private message you the password and the refund info
use the exact same technique for electric guitar to change strings
Except you dont have the plug holes at the bottom and the electric guitar is easier to change view the lesson you will see
