View Full Version : Stairway To Heaven Intro/ Led Zepplin

Hey, I have been seeing a lot of people requesting Stairway to Heaven by Led Zepplin, I can play the first 3 or 4 mintues of it, can't do the solo yet. Hoping the good people of NLG put it out there for us in the future. Kind comments are welcome, I know it isn't on a Jimmy Page level, but that is why we all come here to get to the Next Level, rock on good people. It is a fun piece to play if you cant play it work on fretting your index on the bottome 4 strings and doing some very fun memorable hammer on's and you can get this song in no time w/ practice. Lots of tablature out there for free on this one.ENJOY!!!! PS I know the video quality isn't that great working on a better video camera.

Zeppelin_Maniac nods his approval at ernieball thinking, "Well done! He can play Stairway on my guitars any time." Zeppelin_Maniac has a No Stariway rule on his guitars unless you can play it past the 5th note. Today Zep will be referring to himself in the third person.

Hey just wanted to say thanks real quick for the kind comments, and to Tim for the no bad apples or negative comments that other sites like this dont have rules for. When i have time to record and when there is good light in my living room, i am going to try and redo the stairway w/ a acoustic the way god/Jimmy page intended it to be (just kidding). I am going to have closeups of my left hand for those of you interested in learning it to help w/ the chord shapes,

The closeup chord shape videos would be really cool. I hope you get a chance to do it. Funny think is I was checking out BrainG1110's Freebird video and saw a Stairway to Heaven video in the you might also likes you get after the one you are watching is over. I thought I recognized the name, but didn't really think it was that small of an Internet. Haha. Great job by the way.
