a few to check out would be, www.zzsounds.com www.sweetwater.com , www.music123.com and musiciansfriend.com those are some of the bigger ones. This question has come up in the past, you may want to do a search and see what others have came up with

www.musiciansfried.com and sweetwater.com don't ship interantionally. I'm working on something to help the people abroad in the shipping area. I'll post it when the kinks are worked out.

What kind of things are you looking to ship into australia?
Gibson just had a price crash and Epiphone are currently going through the process of lowering their prices too. :) It makes me smile when I find I can get my coveted Epiphone Les Paul Elitist Custom for $800AU!
I've been looking for a place that will ship me S.I.T. 10.52 Power wounds for a decent price, but alas...

Yea...I agree.
Comparing Australian store prices to US prices is just depressing. We're paying alot of extra money. There's an economical reason behind it but I can't for the life recall what it was for.
For me, I got lucky and bought both my guitars on clearance sales. I was going to get an Ibanez RG1570 Prestige for $800 but I just figured it's safer to go a good entrance level guitar for a first electric then move my way up the food chain when I'm more confident about sounds.

Hey wavelog - the MIM strats in New Zealand start at around $1100 NZD... another thing that annoys me is that the one guitar store chain over here doesn't really have any competition, and they know we can't get them off the internet, so they can charge what they like!

i thought about that.. but isnt there like a free tax agreement or something between Australia and US ? i thought i heard of something like that.... so its still not making any sense:confused:
we're paying 4/500 aud for what US people pay for guitars 2/3 times better...:(
