How many are using Strap locks? I use them. I need to get more sets as I've got to many guitars according to my wife! With the investment we musicians have in our gear I was just wondering how many are packing?

I'm not but I keep hearing about them. I had a closecall with my Taylor recently so I better get me some!

I don't like to use strap locks on my acoustic guitars because the metal-on-metal jostling tends to audibly resonate thru the guitar body and it bothers me when I'm playing.
I should probably be using them on my electrics, but I don't (no particular reason). One of these days I will though.

Hey Zep,
I agree with you on the acoustic thing
Ozzmike,
That's a tough lesson to learn man. I hope it wasn't a 57' Les Paul or vintage Strat cause that would just kill me

Ive never used strap locks. Never had any problems with my guitars except my old BC Rich but that had more do to with the strap holding thing being loose anyway. On my strat and Ibanez I can throw them over my shoulder and stuff no problem.
I think a lot of it has to do with the strap as well.

Any guitar center or guitar shop should have them.

For ppl who use them, which brands work the best? I see Dunlops, Schallers, and DiMarzio cliplocks....anyone use any of these?

I'm using the Dunlops and am very happy with them. I think they were like $15 but that's a lot cheaper than replacing a neck or worse.
