When I found NLG and David Taub on youtube, and started lessons with him in February, my growth and enjoyment as a beginner have been exponential. It's all thanks to David that I got the courage to play in public for the 1st time...thanks David!!! :D

I think it has every right to be on the showcase :) As it involves "you´re beautiful" as david teaches it :)
Great playing. Hope you got the gal ;)

Thanks everyone for the feedback! i was soo nervous, my fingers were freezing out there, and i messed up so much, but like David once said, its all in the heart and the attitude, so i tried to keep that in mind and just keep going and hoping no one would notice..hahaha.
And no I did not get the gal..haha. actually, the couple met thru me, both my good friends, and it was cute that he wanted to sing her that song..gave me an opportunity to get myself out there and see if i could really do it! now if only someone would play matchmaker for me! :D

Thanks, Ray! Actually, that was my 1st time having to sit "indian style" to play..I usually have a chair or I stand, so it was new getting used to sitting like that. I don't think I can sit longer than 1 song...haha.
And I got the brilliant idea from David to print the lyrics for everyone to sing along -- that way, its easier to get everyone singing along with no worries about not knowing the words, and it makes me less self-consicous about playing if everyone is preoccupied trying to sing, they won't notice my mistakes too much...hahaha. In case you haven't seen it, here is some video I shot at a party at David's house:
