G'day Guys,
49 y/o Aussie here not new to guitar but then again not real good either. lol
Spent years just noodling round with my guitars had a few lessons but they went nowhere, then I discovered David and Tim and I have learnt heaps here and on youtube.....
So anyone in Sydney want to get together drop me a line..
(like Beatles and 70's stuff you know ole farts stuff !)

Hey Nick,
Blues HELL YEAH ! lol
I go to the muso's jam at the Empire Hotel at Annandale on Wed nights which is mainly blues based, I have not had the courage to get up and play but I like to watch. Actually the guy that runs it ,Jim Finn also does a jam night at the Carousel Hotel at Rooty Hill. It does not get the same big crowd as Annandale but it is ok. I am on holidays for the next 4 weeks if you want to meet up out there one Thursday.
I like 12 bar because it is repetitive (good for learning and not getting lost).
I am getting to the stage in my playing where I can keep up with a lot of cd's and get through them without too many mistakes, I don't have any great aspirations playing but I love it and I am having a great time.
BTW I am in Roselands
