Hi, I bought a new guitar the other day. It’s an acoustic with a pickup and the output for it is in the center of the strap button. The strap I was using with my old acoustic isn't going to fit onto this button since its much larger diameter to allow for the chord's plug to go in the center.

Do they make guitar straps to go over this? Or should I just cut the hole a bit larger in my current strap and use it?

The only thing I was concerned about with cutting the whole bigger is if I go to large, im not going to feel its secure enough.

:)

I am surprised that it will not fit, I have had no trouble with mine. But if you have to cut your strap do not make the whole larger, just make the slice that runs from the hole a little longer and then get a set of strap locks to secure the strap.
