frets?

My question is when i bend it dose not slide smoothly its ruff even with brand new strings is it the frets or what? its with my Epiphone Goth 1958 Flying V i even used Finger Ease String Lubricant stuff

A little bit of 0000 steel wool will clean the frets up real nice and shine them too. This is what I do maybe Jstickley will chime in with some tech advice.

Yup, some steel wool, ive also had luck with mothers mag and aluminum polish.

Just be sure after you use any chemicals on your fretboard, that you throughly clean the fretboard and oil it ;)

dont forget to mask your fretboard with some masking tape before trying to polish the frets ;)

Can you feel the strings scratching across the fret wire when you bend? It could be that you have small frets. Smaller fret wire tends to make bends more difficult as more of the string is in contact with the fretboard (higher resistance).
There are other factors that can cause your issue...but I'd check that one first.
