"Wind cries Mary" basic riff for fun !

Here's a quick vid when I want to chill down , I really like to play this
so I can concentrate more on new stuff I'm learning afterwards.

Nothing biggy here, just basic Jimi stuff.
I could be playing all in the wrong places but I don't really care.
It's just for fun.

What you see here is not a real Fender strat ... just a real fake "El cheapo"
Samick strat-alike guitar I bought in a pawn shop a month ago.

Sure sounds pretty nice cuz I made some miracles on it, intonation is almost
perfect, I added a MightyMite humbucker at the bridge to get a badass
sound on full distortion rythmn metal (I'll post some metal riffs I'm experience soon to show you what kinda of tone I can get from that cheapo guitar)

What you hear now is the stock "el cheapo" neck and middle pickups.
Still decent in my opinion.

Your actually getting a nice tone from that- still a little muddy in places though. I don't know the song so i can't comment on how you were doing keeping in tune, but it sounded good.

I just can't play that on my Jackson, sounds terrible ...

Yup, sounds muddy in some parts for many reasons, but let's say that's
because that guitar is a piece of junk (but strong like a tank... go figures)
and also I can't get Jimi's tone, just a similar tone (that'S not my goal anyways).

Maybe someday I'll be finally able to play "Little Wing" , it's a hard one for me.
