Gday everybody.
I have a dilemma. I am about to upgrade to a new electric guitar. I really like the les pual body design and colours and was thinking of getting a Epiphone Les Paul model. But i also play music that uses a vibrato bridge unlike the stoptail bridge on Les Pauls. I wanted to know would you be able to fit a vibrato bridge into a Les Paul or are there any guitars smiliar with a vibrato?

I dont know very much about changing bridges, but im sure if you have the money, someone will do it for you.
Plus i never seen a vibrato bridge, never heard of it, then again, im a beginner:D , but if they are similar size then i dont see y they shouldn't be able to be switched

I believe it is Kahler that makes a "no route" tremolo, but I do not have any experience or information on them. You may want to Google it and see what you come up with.
You can find Les Pauls that have been routed for a Floyd Rose if you look. It can be done. However, to have a quality job done would probably cost you more than you paid for the guitar. You may want to look into ESP/LTD Eclipse series. I know they can come stock with a licensed Floyd on it.

Also, you may wanna check out PRS guitars, they make a really nice singlecut Les Paul-ish guitar with a trem bridge (not sure if its a Floyd). A friend of mine was looking for something similar to what you're looking for so I'll get in touch him with. He'll prolly have come across some other options during his research.

Yes you can. There exists a tremolo system that directly replaces the stoptail. They're not cheap but they're out there!
