Just started the lessons and loving it. I have a big problem with lesson 2. David says to keep your guitar out in the open. He needs to have a disclaimer in there. Here is what would happen if I left my guitar out with my 2 year old. :eek:

Yeah... my little cousin pulled a Pete Townshend on my first guitar. Ended up looking something like that.

Many moons ago my little brother dropped my first guitar down a flight of stairs - Only suffered a few dents and scrapes and he was soon out of hospital. Only Joking. It wasn't his fault, he just wanted to be like his big brother and he was more upset than i was. Since then though i have been careful where i leave my guitars when kids are around. I've never had cases for my guitars because i think that they are better when they are in the same humidity and temp as the surrounding area.

I've never had my guitar broken or anything on it... besides the strings...

I wish i had a penny for how many strings i have broken in my younger days. Especially the top E.

Maybe strings are produced different these days because its rare i snap one now.
