how to use wah pedal

Sounds like he is running through a compressor/limiter with possibly a eq somewhere in the chain after the wah. Listen for the open and closing of the pedal.

denagvin, try changing the order of the wah in the effects chain. Generally it's better to have the guitar go directly into the wah pedal then into the next effects.

If your asking how to get the feel for using a wah pedal, the only way I know is to keep playing around with it until it happens. It's a "feel" thing that will just start working for you if you keep working on it.
