Question about lessons

Do you know if Tim and David are working on the extended lessons from the free lessons they are doing? For instance, in the Doors lesson they tell you to go to the site for a little extra to the song. Are they just back logged right now and haven't gotten to it yet, or am I missing something?


I would like to see some way of identifying premium content, instead of it being lumped in with the free stuff.

Hi - its David Taub - thanks for writing in. Yes, we do plan on filming and posting more full on song lessons. Learning songs is so critical to guitar players and we like to use the songs as vehicles so students can practice the techniques they learn in the video instructional lessons. So the goal is not necessarily to learn any one song per se, we want you to eventually be able to play ANY song. That is just something to keep in mind. But yes, we will continue to post more and more full song lessons as that is part of what all the people are requesting. We post new content, song lessons, written lessons, and more weekly. Will try and finish off that Doors song soon - we appreciate your patience. So please stay tuned. The site is just going to keep getting bigger....Bigger....and BIGGER!

I can actually understand where Dave is coming from. Give a man a fish and he will feed his family for a day - give him the means to fish and he will feed his family for life.

Anyone can learn you to play one song - Dave can teach you how to play that will enable you to learn and play many songs by yourself.

I feel that David's ethos is 'I can teach you the tricks and give you the guidance that will enable you to spread your wings so that you can tackle any song by yourself'

the thing for me is, once i actually see it i can do it. i cant just do it by ear but seeing it makes it click better.
